International Postage Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These International Terms & Conditions apply to all orders shipped outside the United Kingdom. By placing an international order, you agree to these Terms in addition to our main Terms & Conditions.

2. Customs, Duties & Import Fees

The buyer is fully responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, handling charges, and any other fees imposed by the destination country.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost unless explicitly stated.

3. Buyer Responsibility

By placing an international order, the buyer confirms that:

  • They understand their country may charge customs/import fees.

  • They accept full responsibility for paying these fees.

  • They have provided accurate delivery information.

  • They are legally permitted to import the purchased item.

4. Refusal to Pay Customs / Import Fees

If the buyer refuses to pay customs or import charges, resulting in the shipment being:

  • Returned to sender

  • Destroyed by customs

  • Held indefinitely

  • Marked as “refused”, “unclaimed”, or “abandoned”

then no refund will be issued for:

  • The product

  • Shipping costs

  • Any additional fees incurred

The buyer accepts full responsibility for these outcomes.

5. Return-to-Sender Shipments

If a parcel is returned to us due to refusal of customs fees, incorrect address, or failure to collect:

  • All shipping costs, return fees, and handling charges will be deducted from any potential refund.

  • If the item is damaged, lost, or destroyed during the return process, no refund will be issued.

  • Reshipment requires full payment of new shipping costs.

6. Customs Destruction

If customs authorities destroy or dispose of the parcel because the buyer refused to pay required fees, the order is considered fulfilled once shipped.
No refund or replacement will be provided.

7. Delivery Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Customs processing

  • Import inspections

  • Local postal services

  • Government agencies

  • Strikes or operational issues in the destination country

These delays do not qualify for refunds or cancellations.

8. Chargeback Policy

Refusal to pay customs/import fees does not constitute grounds for a chargeback.

If a chargeback is filed under these circumstances, we will provide full documentation to the payment processor, including:

  • Proof of shipment

  • Tracking information

  • Customs refusal records

  • Communication logs

  • These International Terms & Conditions

Chargebacks made in violation of these Terms may result in:

  • Suspension of the buyer’s account

  • Recovery of costs through debt collection

  • Legal action where appropriate

9. Lost or Destroyed Parcels

If customs or the courier destroy, abandon, or return the parcel due to unpaid fees or refusal by the buyer, no refund or replacement will be issued.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By completing an international purchase, the buyer confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these International Terms & Conditions.
